This issue is usually caused by a lot of reasons such us viruses, driver problems, conlicts between hardware and software, hard drive failure, system file error or corruption etc. It is not easy to fix them manually by yourself. But usually you can try the following two methods.
1. Fix crash (restarting/rebooting) in safe mode
This way is quick and works about 50% of the time, but it depends on how far your computer can boot and your version of Windows. First, access Safe Mode by pressing F8 at startup. Then go to My Computer and right-click on Disk(C:) to select Properties from the dropdown menu. From the Tools tab, perform an error check and disk cleaning. If this works consider yourself lucky, if it doesn't move on to method 2.
2. Fix crash (restarting/rebooting) with a bootable disk
If Safe Mode is a dead end, try a bootable disk. We humbly suggest Wondershare LiveBoot Boot CD (https://recoverit.wondershare.com/data-recovery.html supports windows 7/vista/xp and more) which will totally fix the issues in no time with a CD or USB.
