Hi,
The computer remembers the last account that was used, reason for it to log it in automatically. However, it is possible for this option to be turned off, with the help of Windows Registry. If you'd like to proceed, here are the steps that you need to turn off the automatic login for the accounts on your computer after shutdown:
Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard, then type in regedit, and hit Enter.
Navigate to this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\UserSwitch.
Right-click on Enabled, then change the value from 0 to 1.
Right click on the registry key "Userswitch", then choose Permissions.
Click on Advanced, then hit Disable inheritance at the bottom part of the dialog box.
Choose "Convert inherited permissions into explicit ones for this object".
At the top of the dialog box, change the owner from SYSTEM to the group of Administrators.
Double click the group Administrator, then put a check on Full control > Allow.
Double-click on SYSTEM, then select "Deny" for "Type" on top, then click Show Advanced permissions.
Click on Clear all, then put a check on Set value.
Click OK > Apply > OK.
Close the Windows Registry, then restart your computer.
Check if the issue persists.
Note: Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, create a backup first. Check the steps in this article to learn how to do so.
